Please note that this virtual training will take place over four consecutive Wednesdays from 6:00PM – 8:00PM:
- Wednesday, May 1: Orientation to the home buying process
- Wednesday, May 8: Budget and credit scores
- Wednesday, May 15: Shopping for a home
- Wednesday, May 22: Getting the deal done – the closing process
For those interested in purchasing a home through our Home Sweet Homan Homeownership Initiative – completing a homebuyer training course is one of the requirements to receive subsidies from our program. Whether you’re ready to buy today, or want to make a plan to buy, completing this training (or a similar HUD-certified training) is the first step to set you up for success. Our skilled partners at NHS will help you access the resources, partners, and tools you need to make the biggest investment of your life – your home!
