Please note that this in-person training will take place over two consecutive Saturday’s from 10:00AM – 2:00PM:
- Saturday, May 11: The first day will cover an orientation to the home buying process and budget & credit basics.
- Saturday, May 18: The second day will bring in expert realtors and loan officers to cover shopping for a home and the closing process.
For those interested in purchasing a home through our Home Sweet Homan Homeownership Initiative – completing a homebuyer training course is one of the requirements to receive subsidies from our program. Whether you’re ready to buy today, or want to make a plan to buy, completing this training (or a similar HUD-certified training) is the first step to set you up for success. Our skilled partners at NHS will help you access the resources, partners, and tools you need to make the biggest investment of your life – your home!
