This Thursday, FHS will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony and block party to welcome new, supportive housing to the Homan Square community. This scattered-site project will bring 21 units of new housing across 3 sites in Homan Square that will be both affordable and accessible to people with disabilities and seniors. All units will include universal design features that meet a wide range of disability accommodations, and all first-floor units will be fully wheelchair accessible. These accessibility and affordability accommodations allow residents greater financial and personal freedom to live their lives. Once tenants move in, the 3 buildings will be owned and managed by FHS. Construction is expected to be completed in August 2023.
